05  I scheduled a call - what happens next?

During our call, we are going to discuss your current business situation.  What are your "pain" points.  What is working and what's not.  We'll talk about your business structure, number of employees...basically get to know each other.  I'll send you a questionnaire that will help to facilitate the conversation.

 04  What is a virtual bookkeeper?

​

We perform bookkeeping through cloud hosted software such as QuickBooks Online, or your preferred software.  Our motto is "a data base is a database"  meaning we can pretty much work on any cloud base software you use in your company.  Some of the software applications we have used are Yardi, Resman, Meditech, Sage, just to name a few.  We don't come to your office - you and I meet in the "cloud".  We use applications such as dropbox, google, Tsheets, Bill.com, Loom, Zoom or any other platform to send and receive documents.

 03  Why should I hire a virtual bookkeeper?

There are great reasons to hire a virtual bookkeeper.  We live in a world where fewer and fewer business are brick and mortar.  Your business may be one of those.  No office means no desk for your employee.  That works for me because I have my own desk, in my own office.  And because I'm not your employee, you don't pay the usual employee taxes such as MCR and SS, etc.

 02  How much is this going to cost me?

Your business is unique to you, and because of that, we offer a variety of services.

 

1) After the fact bookkeeping - You handle the day-to-day operations of your business.  After the month has ended we come in and work behind the scenes on the books recording the activity that has occurred on a schedule of your choosing.  We reconcile, review and provide financial reports.  Prices start at $400 per month for a basic set of books.  The frequency of services and level of activity increases the base price.

 

2) Full charge bookkeeping - Typically performed on a more frequent basis like once a week or daily.  Ark Valley handles the day-to-day bookkeeping operations of your business.  We work for you or with you, front and center, running payroll, managing AR/AP, paying bills, etc.  We reconcile, review and provide financial reports.  Prices start at $800 per month.  The frequency of services and level of activity increases the base price.

3) Clean-up - let's face it - sometimes things happen and a thorough clean up is needed.  We can do that.  Transaction history is important in your business to see the trends of your income and expenses.  We will cleanup your books.  How many months of cleanup, number of transactions to review, bank accounts to reconcile, will determine the cost for cleanup.  We can cost it out by the hour, the job or by the month.
